still in...phnom penh
Don't know how many of you are checking in (HINT: I READ THE COMMENTS), but Happy New Year and all that if you're out there. I spent it on the Cambodian coast at Sihanoukville. Much better than the Thai border town I figured I'd be spending it at - pretty shady and dodgy place, from what I heard. It was good, had a free bbq dinner - pretty tasty at that - and some drinks. Pretty chill time in general. Plenty of opportunities to get wasted though. They were passing out free drinks like it was sponsored by the God of Beer. And Tequila. Slammers for fitty cents. Anyways, it must have been the cheapest New Year I've spent since I was in Calcutta. Anyways, the internet place I'm in right now is pretty slow, so no new pictures yet. Should be up soon though. Coming next week - Angkor Wat. OK, maybe I'm the only one in anticapation here...

comments? Are people actually reading this?
Angkor pictures will be up in a couple days when I get to a superfast Thai internet cafe. Hang on to your horsey, Rose.
And Julie, 'we' refers of course to the busload of swimsuit models who have kidnapped me on their tour of SE Asia.
dir-tay dog!
