i can feel myself think again

Damn, it's hot in Malaysia. Did you all hear me? How do people live down here? Anyways, had a wicked day on the motorbike yesterday. Booted around the island. I can say I drove on the left for a whole day up and down hilly roads and lived to tell about it. It's small victories for me people, remember that. Georgetown is a great place at night. Like something out of a Tom Waits song. Dingy and old, people scattered about in bits and lots of colonial buildings.

But had to retreat from the wall of heat and came up here to the Cameron Highlands for a couple of days, where I can do some hiking without having to take a shower after the first 5 minutes. Might actually need a sweater to go to bed tonight. Yikes, shades of December in Nepal. Anyways, kinda feel like the trip is reaching its denouement, what with only 3 or 4 cities left to do. Thoughts later.

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the cool postcard. Glad you are over your sickness. Drink some good Malaysian Rum and watch a cockfight for me.

-44? Alright, I guess there's worse places to be. I think I'm a cold weather guy though.
